Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of the PropDecider web application ("PropDecider", "the Service"). By accessing or using PropDecider you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any feature of PropDecider, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and agree to comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Permitted Use

You may use PropDecider solely for lawful personal financial planning purposes. You must not:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape or systematically copy the Service or its underlying calculation rules
• Share your account credentials with any other person
• Input false or misleading information that could produce inaccurate outputs
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable Australian or international law

3. Outputs Are Estimates — Not Advice

PropDecider produces indicative planning estimates based on your inputs and publicly available Australian government rules. All outputs:

• Are not lender pre-approval, credit approval or any form of mortgage offer
• Are not financial product advice, financial planning advice or investment advice within the meaning of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)
• Are not legal advice, taxation advice or accounting advice
• Are not a substitute for obtaining your own professional advice from a licensed mortgage broker, financial adviser, solicitor and/or accountant

4. Intellectual Property

All content, code, calculation logic and design elements of PropDecider are owned by or licensed to PropDecider and are protected by Australian copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without prior written consent.

5. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how it is used, and your rights under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

6. Free Trial and Post-Trial Access

PropDecider offers a 15-day free trial from the date of account creation. At trial expiry, access to protected features is suspended until a subscription is activated. We reserve the right to modify trial duration, pricing and available features with reasonable notice.

7. Account Termination and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at contact@propdecider.com. We will action valid deletion requests within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations. We may terminate your account for breach of these Terms, with or without notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian consumer law, PropDecider is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the Service or reliance on any output. Our aggregate liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute must be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, and both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
